Time to find out who our Pyjama Party Winners are! First out of the bag receives the bag of goodies. The next three people each receive a seam allowance guide aka Dooda.
First of all, I decided to write all the names on scraps of recycled paper. Even thinking of counting and recounting through 120+ comments, and factoring in the emailed photos, gave me a headache. Sometimes the old fashioned way is best.
Ian offered to help with what he called his ‘Arbitrary Hand of Goodness’. Well, it would have been rude to refuse. He gave everything a good mix and a shake:
Then I intoned, ‘LET THE SELECTION PROCESS COMMENCE!’ It felt like The Hunger Games, except with little bits of paper and no one was going to die.
First out of the box and winner of the goodies was:
From this moment, I wrote numbers on each selected slip of paper as I didn’t trust my addled, ancient brain to remember who was selected in which order. Next out were these three lovelies:
Congratulations to all the winners! I’ll be in touch for postal addresses.
But a HUGE well done to everyone who got involved. To anyone who has a pyjama phobia and had to deal with jim jams flooding their blog reading at the weekend, I apologise – kind of. To everyone else, wasn’t it the best FUN?
A particular thank you to Teen Granny and Oonaballoona who took time out of their own busy lives to kindly donate guest blog posts. I have already seen at least two renditions of the Py-Jammy Dodgers from readers. I can only guess that anyone who made the cocktail was too drunk to snap the effects for posterity…
Thank you, thank you, everyone. I’m going to blog separately with details of my personal (and entirely arbitrary) highlights, but for now… Group hug!

It was fun indeed! Thanks again for hosting such a great party.

well thank you!!!! I LOVE my stupidly wide dotty PJ pants so much!!! And the fact it has inspired me to get the sewing machine out again…
Yay, I’m glad everyone had so much fun. I missed the sewing band wagon, but enjoyed looking through other people’s results!
Congratulations to the winners! A big thank you to our hostess with the mostest, too!
Thank you Karen for hosting us and congrats to the winners!
Congratulations to all the lucky winners! My, that was suspenseful, waiting to see whose name was on each slip of paper. Now you can all rest on your laurels — or, at least, in your pajamas — until the next sewing challenge arises.
Group HUG focused on you, thanks for organizing!
Such a great party! Thanks for the inspired idea!
Thanks again for hosting! What a lovely party!
Congratulations to the winners, lovely Liberty goodies. Thank you for hosting such a lovely party
I didn’t participate, but it was tons of fun seeing everyone’s shiny new jammies! Karen you’ve made one of the most fun sewalongs ever.
I totally agree. Best. Sew along. EVER!
Awww what fun! I am sorry I missed out on this one but it was lovely to see everyone’s jammies, and even if it’s late, I might just make a new pair anyway as an homage ^___^ LOL
Just because I don’t wear pyjamas, doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the sewalong, I just didn’t take part. Maybe next time, I’ll sew-along…. something easy though, no jackets or trousers!
I didn’t participate, except to enjoy the blog posts and laugh along. It was most excellent fun. Thanks Karen!
It was fun and thanks to you I’ve now discovered way more cool sewist blogs to read from. Also, didn’t make the cocktails because we’d already started on other cocktails XD. Thanks for setting this up!
Oh and I use random.org’s list randomiser for giveaways-copy paste commentator’s names into it and it randomises the list automagically.
