I’ve noticed that bloggers really enjoy sharing intriguing photos of Works In Progress – or WIPs. I totally understand why. Sometimes, a make can take a long time and the temptation to share is overwhelming. I don’t have a finished item to show you, but you can glimpse what I’m working on…
As a reader, I find these snapshots fascinating. What is it? A dress? A skirt? A quilt? Inspired by The House of Pinheiro sharing a tantalsing glimpse of … something! … on Twitter recently, I thought it might be fun to set up a WIP Pitch. Readers can send me deeply mysterious photos of their Works In Progress and I’ll do a round-up post in which we all have fun guessing what they’re making. What do you think?

To get the ball rolling, here’s a photo of something I’m working on right now. There will undoubtedly be a reveal very soon, but you get the picture. Or not.

Cool! It’s a bit like a sewing/craft version of Question of Sport (where they show you footage of a sporty person’s's ear, then their foot etc etc and you have to work out who it is!)
I’m tempted to think you’re making another Sorbetto but can’t think where you would need tailor’s tacks. Whatever it is I want it! x
